Telephone & Voicemail


  1. TO PLACE OUTSIDE CALLS – Dial 9, Number, or dial a line key.

 

  1. TO PLACE INTERCOM CALLS –Dial extension number (party can hear you through the speaker and respond without lifting their handset)

Dial extension number plus 1 - (phone will ring instead of being through the speaker)

 

  1. TO ANSWER CALLS RINGING ON YOUR PHONE – Lift handset or press SPKR button.

 

  1. TO PLACE A CALL ON HOLD – Press the HOLD key

 

 

  1. TO RECONNECT TO A CALL ON HOLD – Lift handset, press the flashing, INT or LINE key

 

  1. TO TRANSFER A CALL TO AN EXTENSION – While on call, press CNF/TRN, dial co-workers extension number or press that extensions “one touch” button, then you can either (announce the call), or hang up.

TO TRANSFTER A CALL TO VOICE MAIL – Press Transfer to Voice Mail button and then the extension button or type in the extension number.

 

  1. TO RECONNECT TO CALLER IF TRANSFER CANNOT BE COMPLETED – Press the flashing INT or LINE key.

 

  1. PAGE – Lift handset, press PAGE button, make announcement, and hang up gently. Or dial #30 from any phone to do it manually.

 

 

  1. REDIAL – (Lift handset), Press REDIAL key. (This will dial the last number dialed from that station ONLY).

 

  1. CONFERENCE CALLING (6IN/2OUT) – While on 1st call, press CNF/TRN button, then place 2nd call(dialing 9+number), wait for connection and press CNF/TRN button again to connect all three parties, repeat procedure to connect 4th party and so on.

 

 

  1. PERSONAL SPEED DIAL NUMBERS – Location codes 100-199

To Store: Press #9876,speed dial, then the location code,(100-199), then dial 9+number, then speed dial to store it.

 

To Access: Lift handset, press SPEED DIAL and dial location code. (i.e. 100-199)

 

  1. SYSTEM SPEED DIAL NUMBERS – Press #66SPEED DIAL, then the location code,(200-299), then speed dial again to store it. Note:  Must be done from main telephone.

 

  1. PARKING A CALL IN ORBIT – Dial the PARK/PICKUP Button, then press the *   key, (the system then reads an ORBIT #. Then dial the PAGE Button to page the party that needs to take the call. (example; “Terry you have a call on 700)”

 

  1. PICKING UP THE PARKED CALLS – Dial the PARK/PICKUP Button, then dial the ORBIT # that was specified i.e. 700. The call is then retrieved.

 

YOU CAN PARK OR PICK UP FROM ANY PHONE ON THE SYSTEM!!


STRATAGYVOICEMAIL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

 

1. TO ACCESS YOUR MAILBOX (FROM INSIDE THE OFFICE)

a.       For new messages your message waiting light will be lit.

1)      Press the message waiting light, wait for the prompt, enter your passcode

b.      To enter your mailbox with no new messages. Dial the voice mail system (6000), wait for the                  prompt, enter your passcode


2. TO ACCESS YOUR MAILBOX (If you have a mailbox and no phone)

a.    Dial the main telephone number (or asked to be transferred to VM), wait for beginning of the greeting.

b.        Press “*”.

c.         Enter your mailbox number

d.        Enter your security code.

e.         Press “#”

 

3. TO LISTEN TO MESSAGES

a.        Access your mailbox. (procedure #1)

b.        Press “1” to listen to new messages or “77” to listen to saved messages.

c.        At any time while listening to the message, you may press:

4        To Pause/Resume (toggle or 30 seconds)

8        To turn up volume

0        To turn down volume

*    To back up (rewind)

#   To go forward (advance)

                    ### To change speed (toggle)

2        To save the new message

3        To delete the message

d.        After the message has played, you have the following options:

1        To listen to the next message

2        To save the new message

3        To delete the message

5    to forward the current message

6    to reply to the current message

7        To access Special Functions

9    to return to the Main Menu

*1 to replay the current message

*2 to play the previous message

 

4.      TO SEND MESSAGES

a.       Access your mailbox.

b.      Press “2” to make a message.

c.       Enter the mailbox (es) or group list number and press “#” after hearing subscriber’s name.

d.      After the tone, record your message and press “#”

e.       After recording, you may press “#” again to send the message or use all your recording and sending options:

1        To replay your message

2        To re-record your message

3        To append to your message

4        To add additional users

7        For Special Functions (Delivery Options)

*     To cancel message and select new destination

** To cancel and return to the Main Menu

f.        Delivery Options:

1        To set message Urgent

2        To set message Private

3        To set Return Receipt

9    to return to previous menu

#    To deliver the message (press this after making desired selection)

 

5.      PERSONAL OPTIONS: Allows mailbox customization for greetings, directory name, and password.  To program personal options:

a.       Access your mailbox. (Procedure #1)

b.      Press “3” to manage your mailbox. You may then perform any/all of the following:

c.       Press “1” to change your personal greeting

  Select greeting numbers 1-7. Press, “2” to record your new greeting then press “#”. Press “9” to save your new greeting.

d.      To change Directory Name, from main menu, press “3”

            Press “2” to change user options

Press “6” to record your name

After the tone, record your first and last name, then press “#”.

Press “9” to save.

e.                               Press “3” to change your security code.

Enter your new security code using digits 0-9 and press ”#”

Re-enter your new security code and press “#”.

 

6.      TO TRANSFER A CALLER INTO A CO-WORKER’S VOICEMAIL

a.       With a caller on the line, press the “Transfer to VM” key.

b.      Enter the person’s mailbox number

c.       Press #

d.      Hang up

 

7.      TO TRANSFER A CO-WORKER INTO VOICE MAIL

a.       With a co-worker on the line, press CONF/TRN key.

b.      Dial voice mail extension number (400)

c.       Hang up to complete the transfer

*Or you can just transfer them to their own extension
