The mission of the St. Clair R-XIII School District is helping students learn, and that is why At-Home Learning Opportunities are being provided.
We understand, however, these are extraordinary times. We also realize that not every student will have equal access to technology, help at home, or other support.
We encourage all students to complete the assignments that are provided, so when school resumes, they are ready. However, please also know that At-Home Learning assignments will not be considered mandatory, and will not negatively impact grades.
- Plan a schedule as a family to provide structure and routine
- Do your best
- Communicate with teachers when help is needed
- Build-in plenty of time each day to step away and move
- Plan for a special space designated for school work
- Share what you are learning with others; ask questions, generate ideas, create connections to learning
Possible methods of completing learning activities:
Record answers/work in a spiral notebook or available paper
Record answers in a word document or google doc on computer or Chromebook
These documents can be emailed or shared with classroom teachers.
Print documents only if desired or helpful in completing the learning activity.
Let us know if you need paper copies.
Phase 2: Select the appropriate grade level for each of your students to view directions and links to learning activities. All completed activities can be turned in by mail, dropped of at Central Office, electronically by email or Google Classroom, or once we return to school.
