Curriculum

Educational standards provide clear goals for student learning. Standards spell out what students are expected to learn in each grade and each subject. We believe it's important that families know exactly what their child should learn by each grade level.
There’s a difference between standards and curriculum. Standards are the goal; curriculum is how we reach the goal.
In St. Clair, our foundation of educational leadership is built upon a solid continuum of learning activities that include the requirements of state and national standards. Our curriculum is aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards, and uses the latest in educational research and best practices to meet the needs of our students.
This approach prepares our students for a competitive global society where their success is dependent upon meeting and exceeding standards of excellence.
What is your child expected to know in each grade level and content area?
