Dear Parents and Students,

Believe it or not, summer is around the corner.  We are excited to share information with you regarding our Bulldog Summer Academy 2026.  If interested, please register using the online application through the Lumen Parent Portal. If you prefer a paper application, you can notify your child’s school or print one from the district website at www.stcmo.org. Please submit the application or return it to your child’s school by April 24, 2026, to be eligible for a promotional drawing.

Plan your child's summer around 22 days of opportunities for engaging, relevant, and personal learning. Our Bulldog Summer Academy will be held from Monday, June 1 through Tuesday, June 30 from 8:00-3:00 for all grades. Classes for students entering kindergarten through grade 2 will be held at St. Clair Elementary; students entering grades 3 through 5 will attend classes at Edgar Murray Elementary; students entering grades 6-8 will attend classes at St. Clair Junior High; and students entering grades 9-12 will attend classes at St. Clair High School.

The transportation department is developing summer bus routes. Once student applications are reviewed, we will publish the time and place where the buses will stop. Please understand that we provide limited transportation for summer school. Bus numbers and routes are not the same as during the regular school year.

Drawings for prizes will be held daily for students in attendance, K-12.  Students in grades K-8 with 90% attendance (missing no more than 2 days) and who complete all work products will be eligible for a $100 gift card.  Students in grades K-8 who complete a year-long virtual course will be eligible for a $100 gift card, while those completing a semester course will be eligible to receive a $50 gift card.

Please consider having your child attend, whether to earn high school credit, get extra help for coursework not mastered during the regular school year, or for the enjoyment of learning and being with friends!  You will all find something rewarding at our Bulldog Summer Academy 2026!

Sincerely,

Melissa Husereau
